Gone with the Wind Southern Supper for Corporate Client

Earlier this fall, we designed a Gone with the Wind/Southern Supper Event for a client hosting their largest customers from across the country at The Warren City Club here in Atlanta. The client wanted to show off the south’s finest flowers using magnolias, camellias, dogwoods, and peonies, but sadly we were out of season (and out of budget) on all of them.  Instead we used large garden roses opened to the fullest, lots of hydrageas and added solidego and heather to bring some whispy-ness to the affair.

We used the palest pink and mint green toile linens as our backdrop, added mason jars filled with beans and topped with gingham lids, and put the centerpeices in white pitchers mimicing old southern milk jugs.  Baskets of vegetables and flowers adorned the food tables and a lemonaid and sweet tea station was obligatory at this party.  A Sweetwater Brewery Beer Tasting and cigar roller ensured that everyone had a great time at this event.
